A great plant-based alternative to chicken wings.

  • 1 cauliflower head
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • breadcrumbs
  • paprika
  • marjoram
  • ¼ cup soya sauce
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • salt
  • pepper

Preheat oven to 220°C.

Combine the flour, garlic powder, 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp paprika in a bowl. Beat the egg and milk together before adding to the other ingredients, and mix well.

Place breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.

Mix soya sauce, honey, paprika, chopped marjoram, and olive oil in a small bowl.

Break cauliflower into florets. Dip each floret into the batter, and then coat with the breadcrumbs. Place the florets on a baking tray and place in oven for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, take the cauliflower out of the oven and baste each floret with the soya sauce dip. Place the tray back into the oven for a further 15 minutes, until cauliflower is tender in the middle but crispy on the outside.
